Type &amp;#39;A&amp;#39; and &amp;#39;B&amp;#39; sheaths seam to have fallen out of use as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The early second century AD stele of Gaius Castricius Victor from Aquincum shows a pugio and physical evidence has survived from Buciumi and the Antonine period fort at Bar Hill. I&amp;#39;m teaching my AWANA class about the whole armor of God and I wanted them to understand and see what Paul saw when he used the Roman armor as a metaphor for what the Christian needs to wear.
